1. Services

Jaynel Events (Pty) Ltd provides event planning, styling, and equipment hire for various functions including weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, funerals, and year-end functions. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.

2. Bookings and Payments

  • A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid 3 days before the event date.
  • Payment methods accepted include EFT, cash, or other approved methods.
  • Late payments may result in cancellation or additional fees.
  • All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation is made within 48 hours of booking.
  • Refunds for other payments will be considered based on notice period and incurred costs.
  • Postponements are subject to availability and may incur rescheduling fees.

4. Equipment Hire

  • All hired items remain the property of Jaynel Events (Pty) Ltd.
  • Clients are responsible for any loss or damage to hired items during the rental period.
  • Items must be returned in the same condition as received.
  • Replacement or repair costs will be charged for damaged or missing items.

5. Event Setup and Logistics

  • Setup and collection times will be agreed upon in advance.
  • Clients must ensure venue access and readiness for setup.
  • Jaynel Events (Pty) Ltd is not liable for delays caused by venue restrictions or third-party interference.

6. Liability

  • Jaynel Events (Pty) Ltd is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from use of hired items or services, except in cases of proven negligence.
  • Clients are advised to obtain appropriate insurance for their event.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All branding, designs, and materials created by Jaynel Events (Pty) Ltd remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Clients may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Amendments

Jaynel Events (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately unless stated otherwise.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate South African courts.
